The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ASX), the UAE’s domestic focused stock exchange, aims to offer ETFs by the end of the year. Abu Dhabi National Bank – the nation’s second largest –  may be the first issuer.

The NASDAQ Dubai. which focuses more on regional and international listings – is already in the process of approving the sale of iShares funds.
